Aim

​The aim of this project is to monitor the driver and vehicle parameters using advanced Iot technology and computer vision techniques.

Objective

  • To develop a product that can collect data from the driver, including pulse rate, blood oxygen level, body temperature, breath alcohol level.

  • To incorporate facial recognition techniques to ensure the safety of the vehicle and prevent unauthorized drivers from operating the vehicle.

  • To incorporate computer vision techniques to monitor the driver's eye movements and detect signs of drowsiness.

  • To develop a crash detection system using ADXL345 accelerometer sensor to detect the crash of the vehicle and to notify.

  • To connect the system to the internet, allowing it to transmit the collected data to a Firebase database that can be accessed by an app on a mobile device.

  • To test the prototype system on a vehicle and demonstrate successful monitoring of the driver's vital signs, facial recognition and accurate detection of drowsiness , and crash detection.
